I will continue my explanation about my city. Gresik
Now I will yell you why this city known as pudak city. WHY???
Because pudak is the traditional food of this city. Pudak is made from sticky rice (ketan) and packed with palm leaves. The taste of pudak is sweet and delicious. Pudak is divided by two type there are the white one and the red one. The white one is more cheaper than the red one because of the ingredients .Beside pudak this city have another traditional food like ayas, jubung, aand krawu rice. The krawu rice consist with rice, meat, and grated coconut with sambal petis . The sambal petis is made from fermented shrimp. The taste is spicy but delicious.
