ALL ABOUT MY CITY part 1

Ok my friends,let me introduce my self. My name is Muhammad Erwansyah. But you can call me Erwan

Now, I will tell you about my home city, Gresik.

Do you know my city?

If you don’t know. It is located near surabaya. The capital city of east java. it takes only 45 minutes from surabaya.

Gresik known as Industry city, Santri city, Pudak city,  and Adipura city.

First, I will tell you why this city known as Industry City. WHY???

Because it has many big industries such as PT. Petrokimia Gresik, Semen Gresik, Maspion, etc. The Industries make this city with the highest income for the labour in east java defeated surabaya. Beside the big industry, Gresik also have songkok industry. The famous one is Awing songkok. Not only distributed to all city in indonesia. This songkok also exported to foreign country such as malaysia, brunei darussalam, and middle east. But the industries also has many effect. For example the rising of pollution, the weather become hot too.

Next, why this city known as Santri city. WHY???

Because it consist many pondok pesantren. The student that studied in the pondok pesantren usually called santri. So thats why this city called santri city. Beside that the student of gresik city have satisfactory achievment such as the highest NUM in the national examination, winner of speech contest, and many other.
